Cone-beam Computed Tomography (Cone-beam CT)
Cone Beam CT scanning provides high-resolution, volumetric images with 3-dimensional views of critical anatomy. This allows for more thorough analysis of bone structure, tooth orientation and pathology.

Layering Tool
See and precisely measure detailed anatomy and examine slices between 0.16mm-5.12mm with our layering tool. It's like travelling through tissue and bone with the click of a mouse!

Virtual Implant Planning
Select virtual implants of variable sizes to assess their suitability with software available at the practice. Images can also be transferred to other implant planning software such as SimPlant and Nobel Bioguide in a DICOM format.

Lower Radiation Dose
Cone-beam CT not only delivers more accurate scans at higher resolution, it's also safer than medical CT scanning which exposes the entire head to considerably higher doses of radiation. In fact, the greater resolution and reduced radiation dose offered by Cone-beam CT now make it difficult to justify taking a medical CT for a dental procedure.

3-dimensional or 2-dimensional scans
Not all patients require a 3D x-ray, so we also provide 2D images at extremely high resolution.

Reassurance
Images can be duplicated, and we always store your scans in case they're needed in the future.
